After graduating from FGCU, Deniece began her first position as an Education Assistant with the Holocaust Museum & Education Center of Southwest Florida. During her time there, Deniece worked with students of all ages and visited schools for outreach programs throughout five Southwest Florida counties. Deniece also led student tours and taught programs relating to the Holocaust and other genocides.
Deniece has also worked as the Collier County Coordinator for New Horizons of Southwest Florida. In this position, she was an overseer of two children's after-school programs (K-5) and one teenage after-school program (6-12). In these after-school programs, she shared Bible lessons and tutored students of all ages.
Most recently, Deniece worked at East Naples Middle School as a 6th grade Language Arts Teacher and Team Leader. In 2019, Deniece was honored to receive a Golden Apple from Champions for Learning. Even now, Deniece still works with Champions for Learning in sharing the 2019 Best Practice with other teachers in Collier County.
Deniece came to know Christ in 2011 and met her husband, Jared, in 2014. They got married in 2015. Jared serves on the Worship Team at Fellowship Church. Both Jared and Deniece share a passion for serving the Lord and sharing the Gospel. They are so honored to have the opportunity to do that through Fellowship Academy.
Deniece has lived in Florida for much of her life and attended Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. During her time at FGCU, Deniece was recognized for a presentation at the Florida Conference for Historians and also taught students about 20th-century
